Where Is Heaven?

Why do I rarely, if ever, hear Christians discussing the location of Heaven in what may be an infinite universe? It seems to me that many of the Christians who I heard “preach” their “sermons” do not say exactly where “Heaven” is located! Excuse me for asking, but I think I know where our star and planets contained within our solar system are but after listening to many sermons I don't have a clue where "Heaven" might be!

Now a few ideas about our "loving God." There have been horrific tragedies very recently in the form of Earthquakes in both Haiti and Chile: I have only heard a very few of such pastors, ministers, priests and/or rabbis discuss the more recent disasters of several tornadoes in Southeastern United States: why don’t they discuss these Earthly events because in Genesis we read that God created the apparently infinite universe with his own body! Therefore it must be the same Jesus Christ, son of our God-The-Father who with his father in “Heaven” created not only every living organism upon the earth, including every plant and animal and the Earth! From science we know our single star, amid billions of stars in our "Milky-Way-Galaxy" rotates on it's axis in an elliptical orbit about our single star. This star via gravitational forces keeps the planets and moons in our solar system in their trajectories about it! God created the entire universe as we read in the Old Testament of Genesis! Is "Heaven" located somewhere amid the billions upon billions of other stars in our galaxy? Since we are told that God-The-Father, the father of Jesus Christ, the same Jesus Christ who is said by the multitude of preachers to have come to Earth via the powers of God-The-Father! God-The-Father is said to have created the entire universe! In my estimation there are no boundaries anywhere in our universe: I believe our universe extends into infinity in every microscopic and macroscopic direction. Consequently it seems to me that God-The-Father must have intelligence combined with abilities which are omniscient, omnipresent, and absolutely that of more than the combined genius of all the geniuses ever born on Earth. Therefore, in creating our Earth why do we find ourselves ambushed by volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes,etc.

Puzzling Ideas About God, Our Universe

Since there are billions upon billions of stars in our own Galaxy, the "Milky Way," where are the many deities humankind has paid homage to during human civilization? When I look through a telescope I see only other suns or stars. Is the universe infinite space all around us or is there and end to the universe, a boundary in the firmament? What is the furthest star we can see with our orbiting space station and in what galaxy is it located? Earth is said to be rotating in an elliptical orbit about our sun-star! The circumference of the Earth is about 25,000 miles. Our Earth completes one rotation per day!The Earth is rotating around our Sun-Star at approximately sixty-seven thousand miles! Considering that astronomers and physics research scientists can now see extremely far into the Universe in any direction from a given point in space and view not only billions upon billions of other Sun-Stars which are located in their respective galaxies it seems to me, or in my opinion our Milky Way Galaxy is only one galaxy of many, perhaps there are an infinite number of star-suns, and galaxies with absolutely no end in any direction of light years from Earth! Therefore I'm suggesting that regardless of what path or trajectory of a spaceship's course, the rocket-ship if it had the necessary fuel, construction, and engineering the crew would discover a universe with positively no end! I'm giving my opinion that there is no finite universe in any respect but only infinite space! My curiosity has led me to this notion. I am not an agnostic and positively not an atheist; I believe in a supreme being but I question where the supreme being we refer to as God, and God's Angels are currently situated in terms of location. I'm also very puzzled that in an infinite universe where we believe God and his Angels created everything is God & his Angels actually among us but in another dimension? If anyone has seen the TV series called "Sliders" you realize what I'm implying! If you haven't had the opportunity to see "Sliders," I highly recommend it so you can better comprehend the idea of multiple versions of basically the same universe but where the inhabitants of the other dimensions perceive what I believe to be an infinite number of possibilities. Therefore this is perhaps why we can sense God and his Angels but cannot as yet see them; they're omnipresent but in another dimension. I am open-minded to other views of this conundrum. One question that typically comes to my thought processes is the following: Was God created by another God, and did God create the Angels and the kingdom of heaven! When I contemplate infinite space all around me I sometimes wonder why this is such a curious phenomenon for me! Our father-in-heaven is said to be a loving deity. If so, can anyone explain to me why we upon Earth in our dimension have witnessed the recent enormous Earthquake in Haiti!Next, we had quite a terrifying Earthquake in Chile! Aren't the same loving God and his Angels fully aware of these extremely tragic calamities? Are Earthquakes caused by more than shifting tectonic plates within the core of our planet or are the billions upon billions of stars somehow contributing to these horrifying events? I realize I have touched upon two themes in my excursus.But, I am becoming more curious than I usually am. How can one who is very intrigued by what maybe an infinite universe filled with what I believe is infinite space and infinite galaxies not tend to think of a supreme being or angels in the pursuit of answers and theories about it? You see, I'm curious as to whether the creation of tragic storms such as hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, and the results of a volcanic eruption are mainly due to inner and/or outer Mother-Earth phenomena or do external forces from our own Sun-Star, the moon, other planets in our solar system, and relatively close other star systems contribute to the development of these very powerful storms. This is new territory for me! I can't recall being as interested in how other Star-Sun celestial orbs might be influencing our weather on Earth. Also, I didn't wonder about God and his Angels role in these Earthly physical and weather disasters until each one of them: volcanic eruptions, Earth-quakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and/or tornadoes began to captivate my interest. They appear to have garnered my attention because with all the sophisticated computers and contemporary instruments we have we continue to be daunted and very daunted by the prospect of them. During a fairly recent Earthquake in China there were many innocent people who required amputation after having gargantuan building materials removed off their bodies! Do Star-Suns play a significant role in producing the horrifying natural disasters I've noted? Are these usually destructive storms only emerge without sufficient warning because of Earthly planetary forces? Think about my theory that our Universe is not finite but absolutely an infinite firmament of perpetual galactic energy. Regardless of the direction one chooses to scope upon our Universe, even with the most sophisticated telescopes orbiting Earth I again say the onlooker will only tend to witness another galaxy behind the galaxy formerly envisioned. No matter how powerful the next generation of telescopes procured I believe the result will always be that the onlooker shall again see what was witnessed with now obsolete telescopes, and this shall be another set of galaxy constellations behind those already mapped! Scientists could have engineers create better telescopic devices but because the Universe is, I think, absolutely infinite, they'll only witness other Galaxies, and considering the real amount of time these newly discovered galaxies take to reach their eyes as the perception of these galaxies occurs as their images are traveling from deep space to their better telescopes they shall be witnesses to galaxies which probably have changed dramatically because of the time in light years which is necessary for scientists to receive their images! Hence an astronomer is seeing the galaxy as it was a very long time ago because it requires an incredible amount of time for the images of these far-out galaxies to reach them. It appears that NASA and/or private entrepreneurs have for the most part begun to lose their faith as to there being sentient life within or without the planets orbiting these distant stars and also become very pessimistic with regard to NASA and/or private commercial companies making enough progress in their efforts to engineer spaceships with enough capacity to launch from Earth and travel fast enough to explore deeper space. I don't know how others feel about this but I can only regard it as an enormous lack of faith and fortitude! Consider what the Earth might have turned out to be if the majority of scientists were not brave enough to build ocean ships that irrefutably disproved the idea in the popular imagination of Europeans during the thirteen and fourteenth centuries such that the Earth was obviously a flat surface! Contemplate the bravery of the first sailors who crossed the Atlantic Ocean to discover the Americas! What would America be like today if skeptics had persecuted anyone who believed something as miraculous as the horse-less carriage could be a reality? Remember, how persecuted Galileo was by the Catholic Church for inventing a telescope to study the phases of the moon? The Holy Roman Church and the Pope exiled him and only allowed him to live because he recanted his beliefs based on his observations of the Cosmos with his ingenious telescope! More of these examples will be presented in another issue of my blog but suffice it to say, whenever a new idea emerges from what may be an eccentric personage such as Galileo, Henry Ford, Alexander Graham Bell, etc. there are going to be people who are adamantly against such an inventive notion. But, without the courage and relentlessness of individuals who reached for the "Stars," regardless of adversity and who most importantly maintained their faith and optimism, how much would we know about our universe? How far would we have gotten? I do believe there are scientists and laymen alike who forget how much imagination and struggle were necessary to get to the moon. Currently, I haven't heard in the Mass Media any positive thinking on making new giant leaps in exploring deep space with a manned spaceship! I find this to be capitulation regarding a real journey further into the as yet to be explored star or solar systems we can see in space. Isn't the fact that there are billions and probably trillions of solar systems we could consider traveling to if we began to think less pessimistically about humankind's ability to surmount colossal obstacles to it's goals?
